Our team

We are a team of international students from CULS- Czech University of Life Sciences and CTU- Czech Technical University (both situated in Prague, Czech Republic). We study Environmental engineering, Rural and social development, Food production, Architecture and Economics.

Our strengths

We are an interdisciplinary team, with team members coming from many parts the world, with different backgrounds and skill sets.

Our drive

Our motivation is to implement our ambition and ideas in a real-life challenge. Our team's goal is to gain new comprehensive knowledge and experience.

What we want to achieve

By using our strengths and knowledge gained at our Universities, we wish to acquire practical experience and teamwork.

What are the main starting points of our concept?

-ECOllab’s greenhouse will combine sustainable technologies and innovations to produce environmentally friendly and healthy food with minimum use of resources
-Reconnect people with their roots, culture and tradition through the creation of a community based on trust, care and healthy lifestyle

What are the main functions of our building?

TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
-Aquaponic and hydroponic system for food production
-Photovoltaic thermal collectors (collection of sun's energy) and a smart façade
-Innovation Hub- research and development through digital monitoring
